If I had to describe myself in 3 words, the 3 words would be: curious, diligent and receptive. I am eager to learn and eager to seek out new information. At school, I will always ask questions when in doubt and if a certain topic interests me, I will research and explore beyond the syllabus independently. My curiosity motivated me to take up Raffles Academy Mathematics, H3 Mathematics and SMU H3 Game Theory as I was extremely interested in combinatorics and strategic decision making. I really enjoyed reading the course materials and I believe my interest and pursuit of learning helped me achieve distinctions in these subjects. In my free time I like to read non-fiction books and watch documentaries because they allow me to learn more about the world and people. There are important lessons that could be applied to everyday life, for example, by understanding our natural irrational behavior, we can learn how to make better decisions.
