“My topic is food, which concerns everyone; it is health, which concerns everyone; it is the soil, which concerns everyone, even if they don't realize it, and it is the story of some recent scientific research that connects (these) three vital themes. articles or should we as consumers apply this theory to everything we buy? From the water we drink to the shoes you wear, to the pens you write, to the technology we use to make life more convenient, to the cars we use to get around but, above all, to the fuel we use and I don't mean the kind you buy at a station of service. All living organisms need fuel to survive. Plants need water and sunlight to grow, animals need plants or other animals to fuel their energy, and humans need a combination of proteins, vegetables, and other nutritious supplements to support the body. You are what you eat, everything starts from a simple idea or better yet from curiosity, it makes you want to learn and therefore inform yourself. If we take the time to learn every spec about our cell phones, computers, gadgets, cars, or whatever piques your interest, why not educate yourself on what you use to power the most important tool you'll ever use, your body. I recently began a life-changing journey to change the way I eat so I can be healthier, be in better shape, and look the way I've always wanted. I thought I would achieve these goals by simply going to the grocery store and making better choices regarding the foods I was consuming. Last week I was introduced to a documentary called Food Inc. and I didn't know that the way I viewed food would be changed for... half the paper... A is to establish national standards for organic products that would be blocked by state-to-state, clear up confusion about labeling, educate consumers, what real organic products are, and to protect consumers and other businesses from organic fraud. Its pure and simple food literally constitutes our physical beings; However, the simple act of eating is increasingly fraught with potentially irreparable effects on health and even life. As a result, our ability to judge the safety and healthiness of food is as essential as our natural survival instinct. The ability to recognize and correctly choose the foods to consume is fundamentally linked to an informed and educated consumer. After all, as the common saying goes: “you are what you eat”. The fuel we give our body to create energy comes from the food we eat, and in essence, these nutrients become the very substance of the body.
