IntroductionFor my personal project, I am writing a book about investing for beginners. My target audience for creation is teenagers who are in the midst of their life decisions. The interaction area of ​​this project is Community and Service as I provide a service to my readers, who will have a good understanding of this topic and will be able to make sensible decisions for the future. My supervisor for the project is Ms. Huneza Usman. The objective (Criterion B) Through the personal project, I would like to have a complete understanding of the concept of investing. The personal connection I have to this topic is that a big part of my dad's job is investing. I have prior knowledge in this area as from the age of 8 I visited my father's office quite often. I have since developed a keen interest in the topic and wanted to learn more. Also, I would like to achieve a certain level in Economics which will help me in the future, as it is a high potential career option. Additionally, through my work on this project, I would like to educate others on this topic as I find it fascinating and I'm sure others would too. This is directly linked to the Area of ​​Interaction, Community and Service that I have chosen, as I want this project to impact people's career choices, especially my peers, as they are at their point in life where they would like to understand their vocation. I would like my project to leave an imprint on the minds of readers. This would not only allow my project to be successful, but it would also allow me to gain a certain level of awareness in finance. The Area of ​​Interaction for this project is Community and Service. I chose this AOI, as the purpose of this project is to inform teenagers… middle of paper… HR was extremely valuable as I got the perspective of real life investors. I had the opportunity to interview prominent people working in the investment industry such as Mr. Ruia, who I talked about before (See Appendix). This helped me gather information through another channel. Additionally, I used survey data to support some of the points I made and this helped ensure the book's credibility. Published media sources, including Bloomberg, Forbes and the Wall Street Journal, are reliable and I will have information through another medium. I evaluated every single source I used in my Process Journal research to choose which information to keep and which information to discard. I evaluate each source for accuracy, objectivity, intended audience, and relevance. Below are some of the sources that have contributed the most to me.
