1 Politics affects everyone's lives and I believe that earning a degree relevant to our ever-changing political system can help me gain the understanding needed to pursue a wide range3 of possibility.4 My aspiration to study Politics at both advanced and undergraduate levels derived from the 2010 general elections; has captured the interest of many people across the country, in part,6 thanks to the historic first live television debate. My study in A Level Politics has not only7 heightened my awareness of current affairs and my understanding of how different political systems8 work, but has also helped me develop ideas about my own political beliefs.
