He is a very intelligent man and is intrigued by the thought of being able to create life from raw materials or corpse parts. When Victor Frankenstein's monster comes to life, Victor abandons and neglects him. His monster feels human and unloved, so he plans how to kill Victor's younger brother. The monster haunts him and his family and finds the perfect moment to kill William. After William is killed, Justine is accused of killing young William. Victor Frankenstein knows this is not true and remains silent about the monster because he does not know the consequences of what could happen to him if people found out that the murderous monster was created by him.
