Character There are two main characters in my book. The first is Stevie. He is 14 years old and writes for the Washington Post. When he was 12, he won a writing contest with Susan Carol Anderson (the other main character in my book) to make it to the final four and write sports articles. They have since been sent to other major sporting events. This is the world series. Stevie is very outgoing but is jealous of his girlfriend Susan Carol. "Well," Stevie said, "I might be pretty good, but not as good as you." This means that Stevie is good at some sports writing and is intelligent. But Susan Carol is great at sports writing and is very intelligent. Susan Carol is a very sweet girl. She's a Southern belle from North Carolina. He can charm anyone with his smile and accent. He speaks very well and always seems to know what he is talking about. Ideas John Feinstein writes many books like this. They all start with Susan Carol and Stevie going to a big sporting event. Then they find something interesting. In this case Stevie discovered a man in his 30s who had two 14-year-old sons who were new to professional baseball. Stevie got an interview with the man and his two sons. Stevie accidentally asked a question about Norbert Doyles (the professional) wife. She supposedly died in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Later in the book, Susan Carol and Stevie find themselves asking an important question. Who was the alcohol driver? Susan Carol and Stevie must go hunting to find out. Once he finds Doyle, he rolls over. He says he was an alcoholic and that he and his wife were drinking in a restaurant. This is because the author says more about Stevie than anyone else. Besides, I know what Stevie is thinking. The author doesn't know what everyone thinks. I almost always know how Steevie feels, what he's thinking and why he said something. But I only know this about Stevie. Considering the author doesn't know what everyone thinks. Order This story is in chronological order. This author may have chosen this because it is a way to easily get his point across. If something is in chronological order it means that it goes from the event that happened first to the event that happened last. The author could also have done this because the last event cannot be separated from the other events. By this I mean that it is intertwined with the other events and would not make sense without the other events.
