Undeniably, they are my motivation and inspiration while attending college. Therefore, they pick me up when I'm down and remind me not to give up when I'm trying to achieve a goal. Thanks to their love and support, I can proudly say: I am now just a few classes away from completing my CSU General Education - Breadth Requirements to transfer to a four-year college. Furthermore, they are the reason why I am full of ambition, driven by success and motivated when it comes to finishing my studies. Additionally, I consider English and Creative Writing as a major because of my admiration for writing. Basically, I hope to one day become a prominent writer. Recently some of my writings were selected for the 2015 edition of Phineas, the literary magazine of San Bernardino Valley College. As a result, I can proudly say that I am now a published author. Despite my difficult past, my appetite and aspiration for higher education has grown immensely and now it seems like my path to success
