Cloud computing technology is a very well-known and popular paradigm in the field of information technology. It is an incipient computing model that derives from grid computing and is becoming a major emerging concept in information technology. A large number of operating systems and virtual servers depend on each other across the Internet and allow resources to be shared between them. This generates fast and efficient processing speed. The concept of cloud computing is based on the sharing of expensive resources over time and the benefits of providence of scale. The word Cloud derives from the well-known shape of the cloud which in architectural system diagrams is expressed as a network. Cloud computing applies traditional supercomputing to provide enormous processing power. Cloud computing allows the user to run simulated applications on a virtual server. In this report, we discuss cloud computing technologies such as “Distributed File System (DFS), Map-Reduce and Big tab”. [3] This cloud computing architecture is designed for geographic information services that contain functional usage, perceptions, benefits, back-up data processing, and infrastructure layers. We also discuss software wallpapers called “D cloud”. D-Cloud provides a condition for analysis on cloud elements using a particular structural configuration and automatically implements a large number of evaluations according to the scenario. We also discuss the combination of peer to peer systems and cloud computing related technologies in order to build an architecture blueprint and establish PC2, a free and open cloud computing platform. Private Clouds are used when data storage and computational resources are completely owned by the private company. Public clouds are accessible to all users. Computational resources are owned by various organizations. Hybrid clouds are a combination of private and public clouds.Bibliography.[1]Exploring Cloud Computing Technologies for Geographic Information Services[2]Cloud Computing: An Emerging Trend in Information Technology.[3] The next generation of computing through cloud computing technology.[4]Harnessing the power of P2P technology to build PC2, a free and open cloud computing platform[5] D-Cloud: Designing a software testing environment for systems distributed reliably using cloud computing technology [6] Farhan.B.Shaikh, Sajjad Haider. 2011. “Security Threats in Cloud Computing,” Abu Dhabi, IEEE.
