For thousands of years, humans have attempted to find ways to overcome difficulties in their lives. With the pain of the world keeping people from enjoying simple pleasures, sometimes help is needed. Marijuana gives millions of people relief from the pain they experience on a daily basis. This all-natural plant that has helped so many people has perplexed our nation's leaders for a long time. The THC in marijuana causes users to experience a mild-huluciginic or “high.” The effect that marijuana has on a person has prevented the legalization of the product. Many other details about the plant, such as speculation that it is a gateway drug, have placed a further roadblock to its legalization. Although there is speculation about the plant, the benefits it brings definitely outweigh its disadvantages.
