Topic > Using Kohlberg's model of gender role development case...

This work (repeat teaching) could make children realize and know their gender. The second step, between the ages of 3 and 5, when children know exactly what their sex is, parents want them to do activities together. At this stage, it is very difficult for boys to do this, especially since their gender stereotypes are much stronger than those of girls. This brings us back to the learning they (the kids) got from the previous step. In the third stage, we find that Kohlberg believes that children aged 6 to 10 begin to understand gender differences between themselves. We find that children at this stage begin to develop their skills on this basis. At this stage it may not happen without parental intervention, but children feel confused; for example, a child who has a tendency to perform gendered activities, we find that parents suffer at this stage due to the child returning to their own stereotypes. Also, at this stage, we find that the competition between genders is increasing a little, so we see that boys are trying to demonstrate gender personality. We can now say that the stereotype of children is everywhere
