Management training Management training is also a fundamental step in the development of the manager. Unlike management training, management training can be focused solely on the goals and visions that the organization wishes to impose on its managers. The textbook states that “organizations often design their own courses and seminars as a way to develop their managers. Such courses have the advantage of being adapted to the specific problems, skills and individual characteristics of the organization and its managers". (Werner & DeSimone, p. 460). As new information and issues emerge, management may be required to undergo additional training. Being able to learn, process and implement the information learned during training into real-life scenarios will not only retain the content of the organization, but also of your employees. In an online article titled “Importance of Training and Development Department in Human Resources” it is stated that “by learning new skills, ability to use new methods, materials and knowledge, you become a more valuable employee. Your employer finds it cheaper to train you than to replace you with someone else.” (Silvestre). 2. Explain how they can be combined in strategic management
