Characters – How the main character is developed. There are three main characters in my story, their names are; Alephonsion Deng, Benson Deng and Benjamin Ajak. These three boys, young as they were, are removed from their home with violence. This caused a significant change in how they viewed the world. “I couldn't understand why people were killing us. Did Alchol deserve to die? What harm have we done to these people? Oh, mother, why the murder?" The three boys also behave so differently compared to how we behave, when at home they are expected to never cry, this is also put to the limit during some daily activities. very different from our way of life is that, to be seen as a man, you have to pull your teeth... with a fish spear! “My gum felt as if it had been torn by a sharp razor blade mouth filled with blood. Then the fish spear penetrated my teeth, splitting one in two and leaving half of it in the gum. Furthermore, they speak in a rather foreign way, they speak as if they fear that the other interlocutor will punish them if they want to do it a mess. That's how the characters in my book are, hardened to the core like the real people of this time, they were brave and willing to do whatever it took to stay safe. During the journey, the characters get tougher and tougher, all the time harder. They will have more difficult life experiences during the time period covered in this book than most people in America will in their entire lives. Ideas: Analyze how the main idea is developed. The main idea of my story is quite simple to understand. "Life is not fair" To understand it, you have to know that it is set at the time of the civil war in Sudan, where killing was a normal occurrence almost every six... half of the paper... it's all structured in chapter form, every chapter from a different perspective of the three protagonists. The beginning gives basic information on how these people lived at that time, from everyday life to the details of his father being mauled by a lion (no, seriously... ouch, right?). Then he continues and tells the story of the injustice and the bombings... finally we get to the crux of the story, the journey. This is at this point, the three boys have already been separated, they make their journey through many places in quite a long period, cross the Nile River, into Ethiopia, go back along the map to Kenya and finally, together again, they end up in Kakuma refugee camp. However this is not the end, this book has a kind of epilogue that explains what will happen next, how they will get America, and this is what concludes everything. The end.
