The Qing dynasty continued from the Ming dynasty. The type of Buddhism represented in China is Mahayana Buddhism. Mahayana is the cultivation of one and all others reaching nirvana or near enlightenment. Looking at the "Seated Buddha" (image 2) from the Qing Dynasty, this Buddha image reminds us of the Buddha's teachings but is a representation of a Chinese version during the Qing Dynasty.
