Everyone faces many difficulties, different types of crises and problems in their life because life is full of obstacles. Most of the obstacles we face in our life concern our emotions, mind and heart and it is very difficult to overcome these obstacles. In “Fever,” Raymond Carver described the struggles of a single father whose wife left him with two children. As time passes, a realistic man learns how to resolve the obstacles he encounters in his life. Carlyle's wife left him in early June and went off with Richard Hoopes, one of his high school colleagues. He was in crisis and a painful summer awaited him. Every day and every night he had taken care of the children. It was a very difficult time for him, but as time went by he learned to take care of his children. He was a school teacher, so after a long, painful summer, his classes were about to resume. He tried to find a babysitter. Debbie was the first babysitter he contacted and hired for the children. Her early efforts were unsuccessful because she was a self-centered girl. He didn't take care of the children. One day Carlyle came home early from school and saw his children in the yard, playing with a large dog and their clothes were extremely dirty. They cried and the dog licked their hands and faces. The babysitter, Debbie, smoked cigarettes and drank beer with a group of her thug boyfriends. Then Carlyle fired her from the job. For a few days after this incident Carl... middle of paper... his life. His life experiences and knowledge of life's difficulties were enough to understand and solve other people's problems. As time went on, she was able to handle all kinds of crazy living conditions. So when Carlyle was sick, she took care of all things properly. She took care of his diet and relief. It was the maternal facility for Carlyle's children and also for Carlyle. Time helps human beings forget the painful memories of life. As time goes by, crazy and worse living conditions become normal. A man learns through his experience the difficulties he has faced in his life. Obstacles related to impotence can be overcome through acceptance. Indeed, time plays an important role in overcoming problems.
