It values ​​the interconnectedness of children's development and certainly highlights the importance of interactions and supportive relationships between children and their caregivers. I believe ELECT is a developmental path that supports educators in the process of perceiving children's play and acquiring skills to plan activities that will support extra education. I think that whether or not the educator chooses to follow ELECT, it is good to understand the pattern if only to strengthen and authenticate existing practices. The purpose of CECE is to protect the public from ineffective early childhood educators who may abuse their professional position.
