Retracing Białoszewski's diary and prose (even the taboo areas contained therein) I indicated the difference in revealing sexuality compared to the other modern writer, born almost half a century later, Adam Wiedemann. This comparative selection was dictated by similar issues regarding social conventions and the latter writer's unique autobiographical prose. Equally important was the discussion, published at the time in literary magazines, on the prose of Adam Wiedemann, on the taboo of sexuality and on its dissemination in recent times.
