Performance-enhancing drugs in professional sports today have become a big problem, due to the health stimulants and the benefits such studies have on the good development of person and on correct athletic games. Pediatricians or coaches can play a huge role in helping the athlete or player who uses or takes performance-enhancing drugs. Gathering factual information about the real benefits and medical problems of these drugs and providing information on healthy food and exercise. Attempts to create a change in opinion about use through fear tactics or letting go of performance-enhancing drugs encourages the doctor to have a comprehensive understanding of performance-enhancing drugs and prevention attempts. Athletes face enormous obstacles to win matches. A great player can earn a lot of money and popularity and players only have very little time to do the maximum amount of work. Players are convinced that working hard is the best way to win championships, rings, medals, trophies, but they also have the thought that certain drugs and other performance enhancement studies can give them a boost in their work and allow an easier door for open-minded people, even if they put their health and athletic performance into difficulty. Since the Greek years, players were generally willing to take any substance that aided their ability to play, but it appears that the use of performance enhancement exploded in the 1960s. The study shows that in this period the purchase of steroids was allowed and East German officials began offering particles to their players in an attempt to increase to world class. Players sometimes use substances to improve athletic ability or help with weight problems. Steroids are one of the major sources in professional sports in the world today... middle of paper... stronger, as mentioned before. I mean look at Lance Armstrong, he took performance enhancing drugs for his medical condition (also to help him because he wasn't good enough) and what happened he won, so this is proof that with performance enhancing drugs you get faster and stronger, no matter what. Yes I know he got caught and there were consequences but why does it matter because one day performance enhancing drugs will be allowed in Major League Baseball, the National Football League, soccer, the Olympics, etc. No matter what others say, I believe since so many players use them, they will give up the consequences and let them use it and play with performance-enhancing drugs. On the other hand they could just ban people for life due to medical conditions, then once that happens people will listen and stop taking drugs so they can do what they love.
