Topic > Operations Management: Effective Operational Management…

All resources combined together, inevitably, can make or break a business. It is essential that both sectors understand the need for and value of available resources and adapt, as needed, to the demands of the economy and industry. The goal for both is to provide an industry, the consumer industry, with quality products or services. Human resources are essential, both for the implementation, execution and delivery of the product or services provided. The dynamics of both genres of operations management vary based on industry needs and demands, available technology, and ever-changing consumer trends. It is important for both to be flexible and responsive to new needs, to retain established customers, have an advantage in their market and hopefully attract a new demographic, to increase the overall success of the company. Ultimately, it is the bottom line, profitability and growth, of a company that has the ability to upgrade its technology, invest in new and current resources available, encourage, motivate and reward its employees towards continued success . (In my perfect world, I hope both service and manufacturing companies tend to be green, environmentally conscious, and support a cruelty-free company).
