Among these benefits we can list professional skills, work ethic, knowledge of government and love for one's country. If school provides knowledge, it is in the world of work that this knowledge manifests itself. Being a good worker does not only mean demonstrating professional skills, but also being punctual at work, getting along with colleagues, respecting the supervisor, all this will be learned by young adults. Public service will also open the eyes of young adults on how to make laws in their communities. Last but not least, working in the military, for example, will make young adults love their country. The negative aspects of public service are the disruption of education, loss of opportunity, and most importantly, government involvement in people's civil rights. Other aspects that will certainly penalize young people economically will be their inability to carry out their profession immediately after finishing their studies; consequently, this will impact their student loan repayment. These two financial effects are included in the situation where work in the public service is required after young adults complete their studies. Through public service, young adults will learn and acquire skills that will benefit them both in the workplace and in their jobs
