If emotions change during creation, the artist must work with the new emotions. The new emotions will manifest themselves distinctly on the creation. For it to be truly art, the work must be an accurate representation of what the artist feels. A great example would be the poems of Edgar Allen Poe. They are all an accurate portrayal of what he was feeling. As many know, Poe was very depressed at times and this comes through in his writings. “Through a dark and lonely path, haunted only by evil angels, where an Eidolon, called NIGHT, reigns standing on a black throne…” This was an excerpt from his short story titled “The Murders in the Rue
