To begin with, “religious leaders emphasize that each of us has a soul and a conscience” (Charon, 2010, p.29). They also compare us to animals because we do harm, we are selfish, and we are created in the image of God (Charon, 2010). This causes religious opinion to be more about nature because of how all humans are created. The belief of when people will become human differs due to religious views.
