The economy would be hugely impacted, and production of some services would decrease if not come to a complete halt. The health of many Americans would also suffer because medical supplies would take longer to arrive and in the event of a medical emergency, transportation to a hospital would be nearly impossible. Furthermore, all the people who work in the automotive industry would lose their jobs and have to find another in a society that is currently grappling with high unemployment rates. As a result, it would be a great loss to American society if the vehicles were banned in the United States
