A Star is Born: Marilyn Monroe I was inspired to write about Marilyn Monroe because she seemed to know so much about life and everything she went through. She was a big movie star and fought for what she believed in, she wanted a good part in films, but directors always made her blonde and she had to be stupid and she didn't like that. She didn't understand because he was intelligent and that was what was thought of beautiful blonds back then. She was good at everything she did. People wanted to take advantage of her. But he was a good person who was always taken for granted. She was born on June 1, 1926 in Lag Angles and died on August 5, 1962. She was known as a sex symbol to people and had a difficult life growing up. She never knew that her father and mother tried to kill her when she was in the crib and suffocated her with a pillow. He spent most of his life in foster care. In 1937 a family friend and her husband took care of her for many years because they took her in. At 7 years old Marilyn Monroe returned to the orphanage at 7 years old. She was sexually assaulted and raped when she was 11 years old. She ended up marrying her boyfriend after she moved out and grew up. She grew up as a model and dreamed of becoming an actress. Her career was becoming more difficult because she got married and this affected her acting career a bit. They divorced in 1946. Marilyn Monroe ended up autographing her first movie. She began calling herself Marilyn Monroe and actually died with her blonde hair, but her acting career only began in 1950. She impressed her audience by performing in a film called The Asphalt Jungle. And he also impressed the critics, who loved his performance.
