What I learned this year was about Hitler's rise to power/The Final Solution, the Holocaust, World War II, and Anne Frank. All these things were due to Hitler. Eventually they all connect together. These were the greatest sufferings the world had to face. If the United States had understood this earlier, perhaps it would have been better. Let's start with Hitler's rise to power/The Final Solution. Hitler sent all the Jews he could find to concentration camps. They are not the fields you want to go into. The people in the camps were not criminals. They were treated like animals. He made everyone look the same and they tattooed each one with a number, like they do with cows. Hitler's ultimate plan was simply to kill as many Jews as possible. He knew he was going down, so he was taking everyone down with him. Millions of people have died as a result of these camps. He tried to cover his tracks by killing all the witnesses and bombing all the camps. Then, the Holocaust. The Holocast lasted from 1933 to 1945. 11 million people killed and tortured.
