As adoption rates grow, so do adoption controversies. Adoption is a long and arduous process that continually changes over the years. All adoptive parents must go through the adoption process. Society currently considers creating a family that is not biological in nature to be controversial. However, individual families have the right to decide the composition of their family. If every family focuses on the true nature of family, on unconditional love, we, as a society, will adopt and carry forward the concept of family. With choice, people have the freedom to create their own family, either biologically or through adoption.
