This research paper provides history, demographic data, epidemiological information on the mental health problems of older immigrants in Australia, analysis of major health problems within a country and Does it provide a clear answer on how these problems could be improved? This research identifies predictors of psychological distress in older immigrants newly arrived in Australia. In addition to the conclusion: How are health professionals taking action to change the determinants of health? As noted previously, health is a product of the influence between individuals and their environment (Mcmurray.A & Clendon.J 2011), such as socioeconomics, family, culture, resources and education, a series of the main factors that determine health and well-being. There have been preventable and unfair differences in health status within and between countries, so the main reason for health imbalance is the social determinants of health (AIHW `2010). Mental health is sometimes evident, while there was a high percentage of mental health in migrants. Due to society's lack of mental health awareness, many migrants experience incidents of discrimination. According to the Australia Bureau of Statistics (2004), 50% of people currently have mental or behavioral problems. However, as of 2006 the Bureau of Statistics shows that Australia's migrant population was 4,416,037 and the population of Australian-born Australian residents has decreased slightly. Additionally, the population of foreign visitors and foreign-born people has increased. Based on the AIHW survey (2010), many Australians have suffered from mental illness in their lives. Usually the social problem is one of the factors that cause those mental problems, such as insomnia, autism and depression, which can be solved... in the center of the card... improve the knowledge of healthy living. Usually the depressed patient experiences hopelessness, negative self-image and loss of motivation, while family members need to know how to improve the elderly person's emotions through communication. Older immigrants need to know how to combine communication with physical activity and learn self-help strategies. For example, Morgan and Jorm highlight patients' self-help strategies, write something about how well they did, engage in an activity that gives a feeling of accomplishment, do exercise or physical activity, and communicate frequently with positive people. In other words, the mental health problem is one of the health problems of immigrants and needs the help of the government and health professionals. In fact, the government must provide economic support and health workers must provide physical and psychological help.
