I believe that alcohol would interfere with my potential success and goals for the future. I want to build a legacy of service and honor at the University of Toledo. Even if I don't drink, I don't care if others do. I simply prefer that others keep their drinking contained, safe and not excessive. I am a firm believer in lowering the drinking age to eighteen. If an 18 year old can fight and die for this country, I believe they should have the right to choose what they put in their body. Furthermore, many teenagers drink when they are underage anyway. Alcohol has bad qualities such as the potential for addiction and alcohol poisoning, acting as a distraction and causing poor choices. However, when used responsibly, it can be helpful for socializing and gaining health benefits. This issue is all about perspective and responsibility. Although redundant, the topic of alcohol safety is important. Lori Hart had a special way of making alcohol safety fun and entertaining by educating students on the topic. I learned two new pieces of information from her that will come in handy in the future. I am happy that the class participated in this presentation and would recommend it to other students. I hope Lori Hart's message lasts with University of Toledo students and that alcohol is used more
