The danger of social media addiction can be seen almost everywhere. If you sit on a park bench, walk around the city, or even sit in a shopping mall, you can see myriads of distracted people always looking down. Constant craving for text has become the norm nowadays and this can be fatal if used while performing certain tasks. Texting and driving has been a constant battle among young drivers because this generation has grown up with these devices. Snapchatting has also led to people getting seriously hurt from a silly photo gone wrong or behind the wheel of a car. Social media has rewired many people to the point that it is like a drug addiction. In the beginning, social media may not have been as harmful as it is today.
