The Holocaust was one of the world's largest genocides. Over 17 million people died there, mostly Jews. There was more stuff there about The Holocaust, World War II, Hitler's rise to power and the Diary of Anne Frank. These events all happened at the same time reflecting on each other. The Holocaust was one of the worst events in history. Hitler's rise to power began when he was put in prison for attempting to overthrow the German government. He was sent to prison for 10 years but was released after 9 months for good behavior. In prison he wrote a book entitled Mein Kampf or My Struggle. He blamed everything on the Jews and became famous in Germany for this. When he was released from prison he made a career in government, becoming Chancellor of Germany. He then enacted the Nuraberg racial laws which made Jewish life different. Years later he began to invade the surrounding countries and take control of them, transforming them into German territory. Also, he was only Jews in labor camps, but in reality they were only extermination camps because many of them died. He then began World War II when he invaded Poland in 1939. When World War II began he created the tripartition that made Italy, Germany and Japan allies for 10 years. When America entered the war in 1941 we changed the war by bringing the battle to German territories. When this happened, Hitler carried out the Final Solution, killing as many Jews as he could before the war ended. Then we ended the war in 1945. This was very serious, many people were killed during this period. The Holocaust was one of the world's largest genocides. Over 17 million people died there, mostly Jews. There was more stuff there about The Holocaust, World War II, Hitler's rise to power and the Diary of Anne Frank. These events all happened at the same time reflecting on one...half of a sheet of paper...the Franks and the Van Danns were arrested. They were sent to a tranzit camp where after 6 months they were sent to Ashwitz. Anne and her sister were later sent to an extermination camp where they died of disease. These things were really bad because the Holocaust killed millions of people and because of this Anne died at an early age. All of these things were really bad for people and for everyone who suffered from the Holocaust. During the Holocaust, millions of people were killed, burned, or even gassed. In World War II, teenagers were forced to fight in the war due to the draft, thousands were unable to return home. People during World War II went ashore in boats and many didn't even make it to the beach because they were killed. Anne Frank lost her childhood to the Holocaust. We learn these things, then we don't do it again and we learn from our mistakes.
