Most importantly, Brian participated in every practice technique without complaining to his coach or his mother. Brian showed compassion towards others by sharing a snack with his teammates and younger sister. He showed the same kindness to a younger boy by kicking a soccer ball back and forth with him even though he wasn't on the team. Considering his good intentions, Brian focused less on himself and cared more about others. Overall, the child displays positive self-esteem by being willing to complete each practice technique, acts independently without clinging to his father or mother, and enjoys interacting with others. Furthermore, Brian's teammates were also less in need of their parents' presence, but instead depended on each other
