Eating meals together as a family will encourage an environment that not only promotes healthier eating, but also allows time for family, for communication, to cultivate family traditions , and their children learn life skills ( Kaakinen et al., 2015 ). I will help and encourage this family to find time to shop, prepare and eat nutritious and healthy meals together. Information and guidance would be provided to help the family understand the daily nutritional needs of not only themselves, but also their children.
