More than 22,000 Mustangs were ordered on April 17, 1964 when it was first released by Ford. The showrooms were visited by more than four million people and there were more than 2,600 newspaper advertisements. In 1974 the Mustang II began. Buyers loved it since it was smaller and had a weaker engine. This would use less fuel during the oil crisis. Sales had tripled compared to the previous year. It was also easier to drive thanks to the rack and pinion steering. In 1978 Mustang added many fashion elements that would appeal to female buyers. The rear seat was divided into two seats although in previous years it was a single seat. Along with many new colors there were also door handle pockets, illuminated driver's vanity mirrors and "Fresno Cloth" seat inserts. In 1994, Ford launched a redesigned Mustang. It had plenty of power and Ford brought back the grille. The 1994 Mustang convertible sold 123,198 cars. In 2008 the Ford Mustang was the last pony car left on the road. The first engine in the 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle SS did not run as well as later models. It had a 327 V8 engine that was nowhere near as powerful as later models. After a slow start, the 1965 Chevelle became a true muscle car. The car now had much more power as it had a 396 V8 engine, also known as the Z-16 package. If they made most of the car you want, it will be less expensive. Another factor is whether the car has been modified from its original state or condition. If it has been broken or damaged it will not have the same value. A third factor is the year it was made. If a car is 35 years old it is considered a classic. Classic muscle cars are more valuable than new ones, but if a car isn't yet a classic, a new one will be worth more. Another factor in purchasing muscle cars is market value. If you're looking to buy a car and there's another one just like it, chances are they're the same price. You also need to look at gas prices. You don't want to buy a car that needs a lot of gas. You should also make a budget. You don't want to pay for a car you can't afford.
