IntroductionThe issues of globalization increasingly dominate the life of the universe. The concept of globalization according to Robertson (1992) refers to the shrinking of the world as an incentive and increasing our awareness of the world, i.e. increasing global connections and our understanding of connectedness. Globalization is a situation where there are no borders between the people of the world and it connects communities in one country with people in other countries. Globalization starts from the idea of ​​uniting nations which should be a mutual agreement and guidelines for nations around the world. Globalization is able to give up the constraints of space and time to ensure that interaction and communication between nations can occur quickly. With the support of information and communication technologies, globalization has penetrated all areas of life and has had a significant influence on the world community. In the past, people only connected with local culture. However, hundreds of cultures around the world can now be accessed. Indonesia, being one of the world's developing countries, is also experiencing the effects of rapid globalization. The influence of globalization on national cultures covers a variety of areas such as cultural life which will sooner or later influence the principle of national identity and culture of Indonesia itself. What happens is that opening the ground for the expansion of the product of Western culture in Indonesia as a developing country. Southern culture is very difficult to penetrate into Western countries. From this point of view, the Indonesian market must absorb Western products. Furthermore, the culture of encouraging the use or purchase of domestic products has been eroded by the rise of foreign products. Large quantity of product... half of the paper... in the implementation of this strategy, the state plays an important role for the country. However, the people remain the main actor. The State should provide tools that mediate between the foreign identity and that which is not directly included in community life. The device in the form of an early educational curriculum that teaches students the values ​​of Indonesia's typical cultural identity and advocates the importance of globalization that protects the preservation of national identity. Furthermore, globalization of culture only serves the purpose of bringing local culture to the surrounding cultures of the world into a single unity. Like in a search engine, for example Google, Yahoo, Msn, etc., where we can search for all kinds of events or trends and so on, with just the touch of a finger. Therefore, we do not need to unnecessarily and clumsily apply the globalization of culture in the midst of personal culture.
