A simple comment such as thank you, good work or I love you is no longer seen as important or appreciated. Loving and caring for each other involves much more than a feeling; In fact, it's about taking action, especially in moments when we don't feel like showing our emotions. Research has shown that expressing appreciation and love toward children reduces behavioral problems, improves children's development, and increases family happiness. Love is one of the most important principles of parenting. If children don't feel appreciated and loved, all accomplishments and materials eventually become irrelevant. Children need to be complemented for their successes and, in most cases, this does not have to be tangible. Simple gestures like an encouraging love note, a hug, a kiss, a handshake or an arm around the shoulder can say and mean a lot. Leaving a thank you note on the fridge or simply relaxing together shows appreciation. Today we see that even if parents and children live in the same house, they are emotionally separated. The family must make a conscious effort to develop closeness and show love towards each other
