Topic > Personal Experience: The Power of an Impression

Read the title above. What do you think? You should guess what this 8 page essay is about. Could it be the memory of a love experience between a man and a woman or how a blind man feels when he can see again? The theme doesn't really matter. The important thing about including a title on the cover is to create vague trust in readers. Just take a look at the title to decide whether to continue reading or ignore the text altogether. That's the power of an impression. It is not only used in literacy, but in other media such as speech and the arts. It is the nature of human beings to make assumptions. We continue to judge other people, objects and events whose causes we know. It is not an issue whether our assumptions are right or wrong here, but we were satisfied with the given label and took it as truth. There is danger if the labeling is directed at oneself, which often tends to be negative rather than positive. Have you ever had this conversation with yourself: “I can't do this thing, therefore I'm no good at it.” This sign is destructive. If you assume you can't accomplish something before you actually try it, then you definitely can't do it because you won't follow through with it. Often it is the tag itself that is the obstacle to our success. Such negative assignments will automatically weaken our decisions because they were made before analyzing the issue. Whatever it is, reality is perceived through the behavior we practiced early in life as children because we will naturally act in line with our belief in something. I was a victim of these negative thoughts when I was in elementary school. As a child... in the center of the paper... he was sitting with some companions. That woman had some lime with her and gave one to him as a gift. Muhammad happily accepts it with a smile. The lime was eaten by the prophet Muhammad. Usually Muhammad shared anything with his friends, but not this time. They were not even given a wedge of lime. The prophet continues to eat the lime with a smile. Then the women returned home. The Prophet's friends were quite amazed by his attitude. They asked for explanations. Muhammad explained that lime tastes too acidic. He hesitated that any of his friends would squint when they ate lime. Muhammad does not want the woman to be offended. This is why he ate it all by himself. He wants to propitiate himself and in the end the lady will not make any bad impression on him. That personality of Prophet Muhammad is what I want to emulate in myself.
