My day in class this week was quite invigorating. When I walked into class today, my TC told me that he would allow me to do shared reading during the literacy block to help me feel comfortable speaking in front of the whole class. I was a little nervous but excited when he asked me. I had performed shared readings in front of other college students but never in front of children, which made me a little nervous, even though I had been working with them for more than 38 hours. Yet, when the opportunity arose, I sat at the front of the room with all the students on the carpet to read a book about moose facts.
