Introduction Over the years, boys and girls grow at a steady rate that is considered “normal.” There are many factors that influence a child's height, such as gender, genetics, nutrition, physical activity, current health problems, etc. Evidently, "normal" growth is not an exact approximation of how much a child grows, but it explains what factors influence a normal growth rate. These factors include healthy eating, exercise and sufficient sleep. If a child remains active in these three factors, he or she will most likely grow at a normal rate. Eventually, puberty reaches both boys and girls. During this time their body changes and they will grow a little more before they stop growing. A girl will reach adulthood at age 15 or 16, depending on when puberty began. So it could be later because it has been said that a girl stops growing when she reaches 18 (not always true). One thing that may be noticeable is that at a young age, girls appear to be a little taller than boys. However, as a male gets older, around 12-15 years old, he will grow more rapidly. It is said that boys grow up to the age of 21, much more slowly. With current information it is not very difficult to determine why most boys are taller than girls. In essence, genetics can play a very useful and important role in determining a person's growth. If a boy or girl has short parents, they will most likely be short too. The opposite is also possible. If one parent is tall and the other is short, it can be difficult to tell whether the child is short or tall unless additional information, such as genetics, can be observed. Overall, go to a doctor's office to determine whether.... .. middle of paper ... kids become moody and sensitive to what others might think of them. Over the years they will adapt to the changes on their path to adulthood. Sensory and motor development refers to girls and boys aged 10 to 14 years. At these ages they are a little clumsy because they have not fully adapted to their body. Development is obviously a huge part of human life and there are many types of development there. Through research we have found that physical growth occurs rapidly and is at a high rate. The result could still make males taller and more physically capable. When it comes to psychological development, both males and females advance in different parts. Both boys and girls go through the same developmental stages; the point at which they reach these developmental stages differs but in the end they come out with almost the same result.
