You may not understand something, but one of your group members can express it differently or tell you what they took away from the problem and that might help you understand it. Groups also help spark conversation because they help you build on someone else's thoughts. When you listen to other members talk, you may realize you agree or disagree, which will create more conversation. This session helped me understand how valuable groups can be. Conclusion According to Toseland, motivation is the key to a successful group (p. 217), and overall, we were not motivated to begin with. As our leader, Brianna did a good job of reminding us all that we all had logs (that was our primary motivation) and then as we got deeper into the case study, we were more involved than I thought. This session helped me understand how useful working in a group can be. This session made me realize how important it is to have groups for motivational purposes. Knowing that everyone was feeling exhausted made me participate more because I knew it would take everyone's input since we all felt the same. As a team, we were able to help each other walk through the case study and discuss what we should do to help
