Topic > Analysis of the interview and the Central Park five

A woman was raped in Central Park and was found unconscious. He recovered quickly after the accident but could not remember what happened that day. On the same day the woman was raped, all five teenagers were there, but they were in the opposite direction from where the rape occurred. They were taken to the police for questioning and asked about the incident. The police were questioning the teenagers and yelling in their faces because they were frustrated that they weren't getting the answers they wanted to hear from them. The teenagers were tired after being questioned for about two days about something they knew nothing about and just wanted to get out of the place. The police told them to say certain things and told them the things they wanted to hear, which led the teenagers to believe that if they said what the police told them to say then they could leave. They eventually confessed to raping the woman on video and paper and this led to their arrest. Even though there was no actual evidence to prove their presence at the scene, it didn't matter because the police only wanted confessions, which was their goal all along.
