This chapter focused on people with schizophrenia. This was a topic I had never had too much information about. For a person to be classified as having a psychological disorder, their behavior must not only be unusual, but also disturbing. People with schizophrenia often suffer from symptoms such as hearing voices, reading their minds, controlling their thoughts, plotting against them. Reading this chapter showed me that schizophrenia is a serious disorder and a very dangerous psychological disorder for oneself and the people around them. The cause of schizophrenia is still unclear. Some theories on the cause of this disease are genetics, biology; and possible infections and immune disorders.
