Attracting the Audience The way this advertisement is presented, it would be considered a soft sell. First of all, one idea behind a soft sale is that the brand is already established, and believe me, Disney is already a well-established company. There is so much happiness and positivity associated with Disney. It has been around for a long time and has grown exponentially around the world. Secondly, the picture mainly focuses on the image of the famous singer Taylor Swift, but it is not just an ordinary Taylor Swift. She is dressed and has Princess Rapunzel's hair. This brings together two much admired people to make people want to be even more like them and suggests that Disneyland is where this dream can come to life. Finally, at the top left of the image it says "Where a world of adventure awaits." This statement really says nothing about the product itself, how it is used, or what to do with the product. It's simply suggesting that there's a world of adventure waiting for you and that Disney parks should and could be part of that adventure. The colors of the ad also make it seem a little dark and mysterious, but then there's Taylor Swift as Rapunzel in a beautiful purple dress with her long locks of hair shining in the light. Also the white birds sitting peacefully next to her give the image a very calm and peaceful feel. It definitely appeals to a more emotional side. This ad takes a popular musical artist that many little girls look up to and strive to be like and a famous princess that little girls also look up to and puts them together into one person. This has double the power to make these little girls want to be more like Rapunzel and Taylor Swift, to do... middle of paper... and an absolutely brilliant idea that the Disney imagineers had is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique . This is a shop or rather a boutique where your little girls can transform into princesses and your boys can transform into prince charmings. I mean, really who wouldn't want to be a princess or prince charming, especially when your little one sees another child walking around and getting this special attention from all the cast members. Not only is it another way to improve your child's experience, but also another brilliant way to bring more money to the company, as well as turning into free advertising. Renovation prices range from a simple package at $54.95 to the full royal treatment at $194.95 and up (“Disneyland Resort | Welcome to the Magic,” 2014). That's even more money guests spend to enhance their visit to the Disney parks.
