Brandy should see a therapist and nutritionist. He would need to work with them to become aware of how serious this disorder could be and the damage it has already caused to his body; damage such as her dental and menstrual problems. This therapy would help Brandy get her emotions and urge to purge under control. This treatment plan will also help her get her weight back on track by helping her start eating normally. Ultimately, this therapy will help Brandy overcome the feeling that everyone looks at her with disgust and the feeling that she is fat. Treatment for Brandy's depression could be treatment with antidepressants, if she wishes. Brandy could also treat her depression with other non-pharmaceutical treatments, such as exercising, taking on a new project, eating healthier, and sleeping.
