College rape is becoming increasingly common and may actually be where the majority of rapes occur for young American women. Eighteen percent of students said they had been raped during college, and of that percentage, 41 said it happened during their freshman year. No matter how cautious you are, can you really prevent it? A student who gets drunk with some frat brothers shouldn't be blamed when she becomes a victim of rape, it should be the frat boys instead. Programs are provided to initially prevent rape for students, especially in situations where a student is vulnerable. Another problem with campus rape is that it is the least to report.
