What motivates you to earn a business degree from Wisconsin's BBA program? Additionally, how can you improve or grow from an inclusive, inspiring, diverse, and collaborative learning community? I taught at a school as a volunteer in a summer vocation before my freshman year, which becomes a treasured memory for me. Both the terrible living and teaching conditions shocked me when I first arrived there. The campus consists of two poorly constructed buildings, one used as classrooms and one as a dormitory. There are forty-three students in total, from elementary to high school, with only four teachers, including myself. Each teacher teaches different lessons. As a teacher of both maths and English, I try to tell them as much as I can with limited structure. Luckily, these kids continually ask questions and finish their homework on time. Their continuous desire for knowledge in a difficult situation, their maturity and independence at a young age, their easy satisfaction with small things, make me aware that there are numerous poor children throughout the country. They are poor, live in a world much worse than mine, and do not have the opportunity to receive an advanced education and enjoy life. I donate all my remaining money to the school, hoping that it can help these kids improve their study conditions by purchasing more books. I quickly realized that a small donation from me hardly solves their financial problem, not to mention the fact that there are countless poor children around the school. the world. I want to help and the only way I can think of is to be a successful businesswoman. If I can achieve results in the field of business, in other words, if I can earn a lot of money, then I have the ability to help those poor kids. Therefore I decide to specialize in business, so that I can later start my career, thus overall getting closer to my goal of helping others. Those kids should have the right to study in a modern circumstance where they don't have to worry about time and insufficiencies of faculty and facilities. Since then, I have been looking online and trying to find a university that is a better fit, than where I am right now, University of Wisconsin, Madison. The BBA programs, especially entrepreneurship, offered by UWM are really attractive and competitive. They offer a hands-on learning experience where students can talk one-on-one with successful business people and run a real program on their end, which is what I wanted. By participating in the BBA program, I firmly believe that the alumni and network, as well as the real-world learning model, will prepare me as a successful entrepreneur in the future. Like what children taught me with independence, gratitude and persistence, I have faith that, with diligence and dedication to business, I will always be able to learn from my peers in the BBA program. Students with distinctive backgrounds will accompany me in experimenting with different opinions and solutions, professors with in-depth knowledge will guide me in exploring the interesting business world, and learning conditions with abundant resources and friendly classmates will encourage me to integrate into this warm community, becoming one of the family members of this great house, the business school of Wisconsin.
