It has influenced everything from art and dance to education and politics. “Similarly, countries in the western world welcome yoga and eastern meditation into their lifestyle and benefit from it in one way or another.” (Sonam, 2015) In many ways, knowledge cultures force society to reconsider old beliefs, dated cultural stereotypes, and to reconsider their differences. Ignorance leads to fear, conflict, and misinterpretations of cultural differences and similarities. Knowledge can bring nations to better understanding of each other and encourage the development of stronger relationships, promote goodwill and encourage trade, all of which contribute to a more stable and peaceful global world.
