One of the ways is to try to monitor the behavior of the police, if a situation arises where misconduct occurs, keep an eye on their behavior. We are held accountable for our subordinates, so we must check their integrity and ethics. What needs to be discussed first and foremost is the ethics and code that every police administration must abide by. Integrity means being honest and displaying good morals that are helpful in achieving goals of protection and service (Martin, 2011). One of its characteristics is prudence, which means having the ability to make difficult decisions in conflict situations and choose the best action needed for the situation. The second factor that I consider important in preventing/stopping corruption is trust. Having trust between officials and the public, other officials and supervisors is very important (Martin, 2011).
