What is the purpose of a punishment that takes away or proves to another person the master of life? All this proves is that the “eye for an eye” mentality still exists in the world. Humanity must demonstrate that it has overcome this primitive way of thinking and be willing to act in a civil manner when it comes to criminal convictions, even if the accused is an individual who has been linked to truly hiatus crimes. The logic behind the death penalty never fits a crime. Even if an individual cannot be rehabilitated, no one should have the right to sentence anyone else to death. In the current justice system, the state can punish an action that is considered the worst kind of crime a person can commit. This seems to be completely illogical and contradictory. How can you justify the execution of an action that is unanimously considered wrong? The answer is none; so the death penalty doesn't seem moral
