Government officials should not be afraid of what people say, but do what is right for the future. Did you know there was a shooting in Colorado last month? Cabrera, Carter and Watkins wrote that the shooter, Karl Halverson Pierson, entered the high school wanting to see a faculty member. Pierson shot a 15-year-old girl before shooting himself in the head. A custodian called 911 and the custodian escorted the targeted teacher out of the school.
