This letter seeks to provide an overview of the time management issue among college students who are the intended audience of this article. The document also highlights the probable solutions attributed to it. We also attempt to identify a simple three-part model that encompasses a workable solution to this problem if followed by the latter. The problem of time management can be said to be universal not only affecting students but also other career people. This problem is believed to manifest itself in a person's life in different areas of his or her engagement, particularly at home, at school and at work. It is also an internal problem and not an external one. This requires people, especially college students, to take care of the fact that if they are not able to manage their time appropriately while they are in school, it is evident that as they transition into their working life they will demonstrate the same effects even during work. It is therefore essential that students realize the real root causes of poor time management and stop the same in good time. Some of the causes given include: lack of prioritization of tasks, lack of setting personal goals, inability to manage distractions, procrastination, multitasking, and last but not least, effective task planning. These causes can be resolved using a model which has been explained in the document and advises students to adopt three simple approaches which are: proper planning, stress management and right perception. In conclusion, students must adopt these approaches in a realistic and practical way. This means that students must have a high level of discipline and a high level of proactivity in order to achieve positive results on the same. Manage time... in the middle of the paper... next time students will only be able to plan the events that fit into their calendar in a day. To summarize all of the above you need to remember that there are three effective tools that help manage students' time: proper planning, stress management and time management evaluation. It is truly critical that every student knows how to use their time wisely to improve their performance, reduce stress and increase self-awareness. Works Cited Heibutzki, Ralph.
