The Things We CarryC.S Lewis once said, “It's not the load that destroys you. It's the way you carry it." We carry many things into our lives that we never imagined would weigh so much, or even carry with us. We carry some things out of necessity, while we carry others only because they have a meaning for us. intrinsic value. One of them is a cell phone which is one of the greatest needs of humanity today due to the vast advancement in the world of telecommunications. Furthermore, the ring that I wear on my finger has become an important part of me since I It was given to me by my mother I carry with me my thoughts and, more importantly, I carry with me the memories of the last 19 years of my life. All the things I carry with me might be insignificant to others, but they have great importance in my life Today, having a cell phone is a necessity because it helps with social connections practically all over the world. Applied science has punctuated so many efforts in this technology. For example, the GPS system (Google Maps) that helped me track down places that I needed to reach on time and which I had no idea about. Technology has also updated our phones with numerous apps and systems that include functioning like iPods. Music might be a source of entertainment for many people, but for me, music is an escape from reality. It helps me relax and motivates me in difficult situations. It triggers strong feelings within me and makes me feel things that cannot be expressed in words. Music works like a time machine, each song has a different memory, which when listening to it fills us with happy thoughts in dark moments. It helps me channel my thoughts into one place… in the middle of the paper… under the guidance of my parents. It helped me be myself; confident, independent and more logical. Of all the tangible and intangible things I carry with me, some may stay with me forever and some may not. These things directly or indirectly helped me to overcome problems in difficult times. And because of this, these "things" have become a big part of who I am now. My ring that grounds me to reality, my cell phone that offers me a temporary escape, my thoughts that show me both sides of a radar and my memories that I will never forget. Sad memories that I have forgotten and happy memories that I will always cherish. Therefore, I would just like to say that whatever you carry with you, material or immaterial, should not overwhelm your capabilities and you should learn to let go of the unnecessary weight you are carrying.
